Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle is back. While in Hogsmeade, take in the festive décor, listen to the Frog Choir sing holiday themed songs and grab a Hot Butterbeer. Then head over to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida to see more stunning holiday decorations throughout London and Diagon Alley.
The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular
During the holiday season, Seuss Landing is decorated with the holiday charm and cheer of Dr. Seuss’s Who-ville. Delight in The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, a live retelling of the classic holiday tale starring The Grinch. Plus, meet the maven of mischief himself for an autograph and photo.
Universal’s Holiday Parade
Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s is returning to the streets of Universal Studios Florida. This colorful parade fills the streets with music, confetti, and some of your favorite characters, including the Despicable Me Minions, Shrek and Fiona, King Julien, the Penguins of Madagascar and more!
Holiday Music
What’s Christmastime without music? Performing on select nights, Mannheim Steamroller takes over the Music Plaza Stage at Universal Studios Florida to fill the air with the sounds of the season. With their modern take on classic holiday hits, you’ll get into the holiday spirit in no time.
Ring in 2019!
The celebration continues into the New Year. Dance the night away on Orlando’s biggest outdoor dance floor with a live DJ as you party your way into 2019 during EVE at Universal CityWalk. Enjoy signature cocktails and unlimited cuisine as you rock out to live music at some of Universal CityWalk’s six party zones and lively clubs. The evening culminates with dazzling fireworks and a champagne toast at midnight.
Universal’s Volcano Bay
Hold on to that summertime feeling a little longer! The palm trees are still swaying, the Florida sun is shining and the crowds are lighter during the holidays at Volcano Bay. It’s the perfect place to step back into summer. Grab your TapuTapu wearable, which lets you hold your place in the ride lines and reveal cool surprises with just a wave of your wrist. During the cooler months, the water is still nice and warm at 85°.
The Universal Orlando Resort is set for a fabulous holiday season. Each resort has décor specific to their location and provides a wonderful backdrop for family holiday photos. You can also meet Santa Claus, watch tree lightings, indulge in special holiday treats, and see all the decorations – all while on vacation.
