It’s never-ending fun in the sun at Universal’s Volcano Bay. We might be jumping into the fall season, but right now is the perfect time to visit the water theme park, Universal’s tropical oasis featuring thrills and relaxation for the whole family.
Grab the flip-flops and cool shades, and plan an exciting getaway to Volcano Bay, where it’s a summer paradise all year-long!
Here are seven reasons why you should be planning your next adventure at Volcano Bay this fall:
Relax on the River
Enjoy a lazy ride down the river on the Kopiko Wai Winding River, which gently takes you through the tropical landscape of Universal’s Volcano Bay. Sprays of water surprise along the way and beneath the lava rocks.
Take a Thrill Ride
Have some fun on Honu, a twisting, turning, multi-person slide. On Honu, you can surf the underwater currents on a four-passenger raft, speeding through an open flume, then streaking along two massive walls emblazoned with Waturi turtles.
Little Kid Fun
Even the youngest kiddos can get in on the fun in the shallows of Tot Tiki Reef. Play among splashy slides, a tot-sized water volcano and a family of friendly tikis with spraying fountains. Plus, adorable whales spray and sing as kids raise and lower their hands.
TapuTapu Time
A waterproof wearable specifically designed for Volcano Bay, TapuTapu makes the guest experience throughout the entire park as hassle-free and fun-filled as possible. Use your TapuTapu to hold your place in the Virtual Line for one attraction at a time. TapuTapu will activate special effects within the attraction, such as shooting water cannons and lighting up images within the volcano’s cave. The TapuTapu wristband will be issued to visitors when they arrive at Volcano Bay.
Cabana Life
If you want to add a dash of luxury to experience at Volcano Bay, you can relax, unwind and enjoy the charms of your own private cabana. Each cabana retreat offers padded lounge chairs, a small refrigerator stocked with bottled water, complimentary fruit and snack basket, towel and locker service, plus concierge service with an exclusive menu of food and drink delivered directly to the cabana. One-story and two-story retreats are located throughout the park.
