The tallest, fastest roller coaster in San Diego is a multi-launch coaster with high-energy twists, electrifying loops and inversions. Featuring multiple-launch experiences, Electric Eel will propel you forward and backward as you speed through the ride’s station house accelerating to more than 60 miles per hour in seconds. Then prepare yourself as you rocket skyward nearly 150 feet, where you’ll brave an inverted “heartline” roll and a twisting loop for an exciting feeling of airtime as you reach the peak of the coaster before breathlessly returning to the station.
Hang Time at Knott’s Berry Farm
HangTime, the first and only dive coaster in California, opens May 18, 2018. The latest addition at Knott’s Berry Farm will tower 150 feet over the Boardwalk area showcasing a beyond vertical drop, gravity-defying inversions, and mid-air suspensions. HangTime will be only the second rollercoaster in the Western Hemisphere to feature a negative-g stall loop, which gives riders the sensation of floating.
Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire at Downtown Disney
Into VR entertainment? Look no further than this hyper reality attraction at the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire delivers an immersive VR experience that places visitors inside the Star Wars universe. Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point
The Sandusky, Ohio, amusement park presents yet another world-class thrill ride. Steel Vengeance becomes the park’s 18th coaster, and this one already holds the record for the fastest, tallest and longest wood/steel hybrid. At 205-feet tall with a 90-degree drop, Steel Vengeance delivers close to 30 seconds of airtime, setting another new record: the most airtime on any roller coaster in the world. Located outside Chicago, Illinois, Six Flags Great America has debuted a new loop coaster sure to delight any thrill junkie. This world-record breaking attraction will take riders forward and backward on a gigantic loop before suspending them completely upside down for plenty of wicked hang-time. Thrill seekers will go through a whirlwind series of 360° revolutions suspended upside down for the most insane, inverted hang-time of any coaster in the park before reeling down in the opposite direction.

LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure at Legoland California
Opening July 2018, Legoland California’s new submarine ride will put guests into a submarine for a 4-minute journey through a large 300,000-gallon aquarium filled with undersea life such as sharks, stingrays and more. Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure
Buckle up for an exhilarating ride into the world of The Incredibles—this newly re-imagined attraction opens June 23, 2018. It’s part of a revamp of the entire Paradise Pier area, which is being turned into the new Pixar Pier, dedicated to famous characters in Disney Pixar movies. This is going to be so much fun! The Incredicoaster’s renovation will include engineering reboots of the existing launch system and 360-degree loop, but the coaster structure itself will basically remain the same along its one mile of track.
