It’s party time! From February 3 to April 7, Universal Studios Orlando transforms into the French Quarter of New Orleans. Each night, celebrate Mardi Gras with a family-friendly twist. This year’s event welcomes all ages to partake in colorful parades, seasoned Cajun delicacies and unforgettable live music.
The Mardi Gras parade starts in the Hollywood area of Universal Studios each evening, featuring floats crafted from New Orleans designer, Kern Studios. This year, behold six new floats, inspired by constellations like Virgo, Taurus and Orion. The festivities continue at 8:30pm with a performance from an all-star musician. Top names this year include Macklemore, Fifth Harmony, Foreigner and The Beach Boys.
And then there’s all the delicious food: Head to the French Quarter Courtyard to feast on New Orleans favorites, including shrimp po’boys, jambalaya, beignets and more. The French Quarter Courtyard opens every day at 4pm.
Best of all? The Mardi Gras fun is included with admission to Universal Studios.
