Check out our Q+A with Universal Orlando Resort™:
Why does Universal Orlando Resort™ partner with TicketsatWork for the annual SHRM conference?
TicketsatWork and Universal Orlando Resort™ share similar values with the HR Professionals that attend SHRM. We both have a shared goal that aligns with HR initiatives surrounding motivation, retention, recognition morale and providing a real value to the employee benefits package.
What benefits does it have for your business?
SHRM allows Universal Orlando Resort™ to showcase our world-class vacation destination with three theme parks, five on-site hotels and the Universal CityWalk entertainment complex to the industry leaders that attend the annual SHRM Conference and Expo.
What’s your favorite part of the conference?
Our favorite part of the conference is engaging with program administrators who we don’t normally get to have face-to-face time with. It’s also great to meet new people and educate conference attendees about all the great Universal Orlando offers on TicketsatWork. This year is especially exciting because on May 25 we officially grand-opened Universal’s Volcano Bay, which is an incredibly immersive water theme park. We can’t wait to share all of the unbelievable vacation package offerings that are exclusive to TicketsatWork members at SHRM.
What are you most looking forward to?
We are really looking forward to bringing some special Universal “friends” to our booth to meet conference attendees. We hope they don’t cause too much mayhem!
Each year the Universal team helps TicketsatWork bring fun and excitement to the tradeshow floor. What can conference-goers expect this year?
A special meet and greet with some very popular Universal characters. There will also be great prizes raffled off at our booth including Universal Orlando gift cards and vacation packages.
How do you think employers can best connect with the Universal Orlando Resort brand?
I think it’s a very easy connection. The Universal Orlando Resort™ brand is one where everything is extraordinary. Our company culture is every bit as thrilling as the state-of-the-art guest experiences that line our resort. There is a definite energy here. You can feel it, see it and hear it – there is nothing like it anywhere else in the world, guaranteed.
Why is it important for their employees?
When the employees see Universal Orlando Resort as an option for the vacation of a lifetime, they can feel confident that we provide a great value while delivering unforgettable experiences.
What can travelers expect at Universal Orlando Resort™ in 2017?
We have many exciting things happening in 2017. We recently opened Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon at Universal Studios, and on May 25, we grand-opened our third theme park, Universal’s Volcano Bay. This fall we will kick off our 27th annual Halloween Horror Nights – we have already announced American Horror Story and The Shining, with more announcements coming. And then for the holidays – we have an all-new lineup of events including Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular and Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s.
