Lets move over to Universal Orlando’s third amazing theme park, Volcano Bay, which debuts on May 25. This new water park looks sensational! Spanning 30 fully immersive acres and featuring a variety of experiences, Volcano Bay will offer something for everyone.

Here’s a quick peek at some highlights:

  • Krakatau, the centerpiece of Volcano Bay, a 200-foot-tall fire and water volcano with waterfalls during the day and special lava effects at night.
  • Kopiko Wai Winding River
  • Kala and Ta Nui Serpentine Body Slides
  • Wave Village and Waturi Beach, where guests can lounge
  • Ko’okiri Body Plunge, a 125-foot-long waterslide ride that starts with a 70-degree fall through a drop door

Here’s a cool, new feature: Universal Orlando is debuting TapuTapu, its wristband that will be issued to visitors when they arrive at Volcano Bay

Designed specifically for use in Universal’s water theme park, TapuTapu will make the guest experience throughout the entire park as hassle-free and fun-filled as possible. It allows guests to virtually wait in line for Volcano Bay’s dozens of unique attractions; TapuTapu will activate special effects within the attraction, such as shooting water cannons and lighting up images within the volcano’s cave.
