Client Services Hosts First “Night of Appreciation”

Plum Benefits Client Services Event

Last week, our client services team hosted its first “Night of Appreciation” at Bagatelle in downtown Manhattan – to celebrate our fantastic clients as well as the opening of Cirque du Soleil’s traveling big top show Kurios in New York City. The much anticipated show officially premiered at Randall’s Island on September 29 and will run through November 27.  Click here to buy tickets before they’re gone.

Tuna tartare, mini grilled cheese, cocktails and raffle tickets filled the air as more than 50 human resource professionals joined together to not only get the inside scoop on the show (and win some free tickets), but also to hear about the exciting new addition of a Rewards Management Solution to our benefits platforms.

“Our mission has always been to help employers boost employee engagement, and what better way to do that then by showing your appreciation by acknowledging achievements or milestones with rewards,” said RJ Martino, VP of Sales at EBG. “We wanted to give our clients an easy-to-use, simple tool that would not only help them manage their employee recognition programs to save time, money and resources but also add value by giving their employees free access to fantastic rewards and incentives products.”
To offer insight on the value of employee recognition, seasoned HR professional Syrine Reese, Head of Talent Acquisition at Healthfirst, spoke to the audience about the impact rewarding and celebrating employees has on employee engagement and recruitment.

Plum Benefits Client Services Event  “Intentionally engage your employees to ensure you are providing them with the experiences they desire at work and outside of work,” said Reese. This supports their overall well-being and contributes to greater job satisfaction.  Doing this consistently and deliberately will help you drive talent to your organization.”

Throughout the evening, guests were surprised with great raffle giveaways to some of the city’s top attractions including tickets to: Kurios, Circle Line Sightseeing Tours, Grey Line Tours, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, Blue Man Group, The Ride, New York City Explorer Pass, a dinner for two at Hornblower Cruises and a dinner for four at Planet Hollywood.

But, the fun didn’t end there. To show our appreciation and support for our clients we officially announced the start of our new Client Ambassador Program at the event. To be recognized as an “ambassador” a client must have gone above and beyond in sharing our corporate benefits platform with their respective employees.

The following clients were inducted into the Ambassador Program, and given a plaque to commemorate the moment.

  • Christine Grasser – HR Manager, Macy’s
  • Darrell Tillman – Director of Benefits, Hudson River Healthcare
  • Jennifer Law – Project Coordinator, Employee Relations, Memorial Sloan-Kettering
  • Lori Roman – Director of Benefits, United Cerebral Palsy

All in all, the evening was a big success. We want to thank all of our amazing clients for coming out to support us and for their continued partnership. We look forward to the next event!
