Between October 8 and 9, the 19th edition of the family-friendly celebration will feature German beer, popular cuisine like schnitzel and bratwurst, and plenty of games for the kids.

The Kids Zone features pumpkin painting, beanbag toss, a bouncy house, and other kid-friendly activities.
While the little kids play, the big kids can sample a large selection of beers from at least 25 different German and domestic breweries, as well as authentic German fare served out of Der Markeplatz in the Main Base Lodge.
For the “athletic beer drinkers” there’s the 5th Annual Gulp and Gallop 5k Beer Run on Saturday. That’s running and drinking – at the same time! Good times!
You can also take a break from the Oktoberfest action to explore the 43rd Annual Harvest Arts and Crafts Show in the base lodge featuring local artisans and specialty food makers.
The Bluebird Express will be open each day of the festival for scenic chairlift rides to the summit.
The Bullwheel will also be open with beer and food. Grab a bite to eat and wash it down with a drink while taking in the views at 3,600’ feet!
