Let’s welcome October with the return of the Louder Than Life Festival, set to rev up and rock out this weekend in Louisville, KY.
Now in its third year, the festival will not only boast a stupendous lineup (featuring headliners Avenged Sevenfold and Slipknot), but also spotlight some of the very best cuisine and spirits Kentucky has to offer.

This year, the festival will feature more than 35 bands on three stages over two days. Among the scheduled performers are some of the best-selling hard rock/metal ever — Korn, Anthrax, The Cult, Slayer and recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Cheap Trick.
Bourbon World is going to feature some of the state’s top distilleries, and you can also swing by the Gourmet Man Food Village to partake in tasty dishes from many of Louisville’s best restaurants.
There is also the Fan Experience, which presents fans a chance to meet some of the bands performing at Louder Than Life.
Jack Daniel’s will once again bring a “Taste of Tennessee” to the event. Stop by the Old No. 7 Salon – where guests can have photos taken with rock star swagger in a golden Jack Daniel’s throne. There’s also Jack’s Porch – outfitted with porch benches, rocking chairs and virtual reality goggles that will give you a taste of what life is like in Lynchburg, Tennessee, where every drop of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is made.
