“Halloween Horror Nights” brings together the sickest minds in horror to immerse guests in a living, breathing, three-dimensional world of terror. Guests will explore terrifying haunted houses, brave multiple creature-filled scare zones, enjoy outrageous live shows, and experience many of the park’s most exciting rides and attractions.

Horror icons Leatherface, Michael Myers and More will be at Universal Hollywood

This year’s edition of the horror-fest should be extra scary as Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, and Michael Myers — four of the most terrifying names in horror — join the fun at “Halloween Horror Nights” at Universal Studios Hollywood.

This year’s all-new terrifying line-up includes:

All-New Mazes:

• Halloween – Fans of the “Halloween” film series will be excited to see Michael Myers return in “Halloween: Hell Comes to Haddonfield” – a maze that’s bigger and filled with more menacing scare-actors than the original, top-rated “Halloween” maze. Guests will dodge Myers’ lethal knife at every turn as they step into iconic scenes from the classic horror film – all culminating in a horrifying finale.

• “Freddy vs. Jason” – featuring the iconic villains from the “Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Friday the 13th” franchises, also join the party, where guests will be thrust into the middle of an epic battle between horror’s greatest slashers, a battle through the twisted landscape of nightmares.

• The Exorcist – The there’s the forever frightening “The Exorcist”, one of the scariest movies of all-time. “The Exorcist” maze will resonate as a real life interpretation of the demonic film, daring “Halloween Horror Nights’” guests to live the nightmare experienced by a tortured Regan and her determined mother. The maze will recreate some of the film’s most haunting scenes, ushering guests into its unparalleled terror as if their very souls were possessed by the devil.

• The Walking Dead – The new permanent attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood will have a starring role at “Halloween Horror Nights.” By elevating the scares with more walkers and effects for the nighttime event, “The Walking Dead” creates a no-holds-barred experience that significantly intensifies any other iteration previously developed within the theme park.

Scare zones at Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood will include The Purge

Scare Zone:

A terrifying twist on this year’s scare zone, “Halloween Horror Nights” introduces a new themed experience, inspired by Universal Pictures’ disturbing blockbuster trilogy, “The Purge: Election Year,” that permeates all areas of the park. Iconic scenes from each of the frightening films will recreate the turmoil and pandemonium that exists when masked vigilantes hunt for victims during the government’s annually sanctioned killing spree.

Dance crew Jabbawockeez will provide entertainment at Universal Studios Hollywood

Shows:

Back by popular demand, Jabbawockeez, the acclaimed, award-winning hip hop dance crew, returns to the stage within the Special Effects Show venue, donning their signature white masks as they perform a repertoire of innovative, synchronized choreography before an enthusiastic crowd.

The all-new, high-energy Jabbawockeez show, created exclusively for “Halloween Horror Nights,” will once again underscore the dance crew’s unique brand of humor as they transport guests into a new realm of gravity-defying dance, elevated to new heights by special effects and pulse-pounding music.

Horror Nights 2016 at Universal Studios Hollywood will feature seven haunted mazes, four scare zones and a show on select nights from Sept. 16 to Nov. 5.
