Okay… now we know the date. The Main Street Electrical Parade, the Magic Kingdom’s long-running nighttime parade, will officially end its historic run at Walt Disney World Resort on October 9.

Disney says the parade will next travel to Disneyland in California for a limited engagement beginning early next year.

As for the parade at Walt Disney World, we have a few more weeks to experience the exciting, nighttime procession filled with glowing, spinning floats with beloved Disney characters and dancers.

TicketsatWork.com has terrific deals for Walt Disney World to help enjoy the magic and nostalgia of the parade one last time – like our Magic Your Way® Tickets with Park Hopper® Option, and the Magic Your Way® Tickets with Water Park Fun & More Option.

Since its Florida debut in 1977, the parade has become a special experience for families, sharing the event from one generation to the next.

It’s a wonderful show, with Tinker Bell orchestrating the magic, lighting the way with a wave of her wand. Half a million shimmering lights are carefully synchronized to a memorable soundtrack to create this moving musical spectacle, which lasts over 20 minutes.

Come wave to the adorable denizens of Wonderland, Never Land and many classic Disney tales. Watch for characters such as:

• Alice in Wonderland
• Pinocchio
• Cinderella
• Pete’s Dragon Elliott
• Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
• And more!

In addition to Disney characters, rejoice as dancers and all kinds of critters pass by in this amazing parade, ending with a unique American tribute featuring dancing patriots and a majestic bald eagle fashioned from brilliant golden lights.

Don’t miss your chance to take the family to see the Main Street Electrical Parade one final time.

The Main Street Electrical parade at Walt Disney World Resort will not appear during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights.
