The Backwoods Music Festival is…back! Let the good times roll!
This Labor Day weekend is going to be dreamy for music fans, as the annual music and camping festival takes place September 2nd – 4th at Tatanka Ranch in Stroud, Oklahoma – just off the historic Route 66.
Now in its ninth year, the Backwoods Music Festival features everything from electronic dance music and jam bands, to indie, bluegrass and folk.
TicketsatWork.com is part of the festival fun with cool ticket specials: Save over 20% on four different ticket offers, featuring camping or no-camping options.
Just a few of the artists scheduled to play include Big Gigantic, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Audien, Chill Harris, Desert Dwellers, Coleman Hell, Fractal Sky, Goldfish, Haywyre, Hippie Sabotage. There’s more. Lot’s more!
The music shows will take place across eight stages, but that’s just part of the festival fun. Other activities include workshops, vendors, daily yoga, art installations, helicopter rides, beach and lake activities, a ferris wheel, tree house, as well as a lineup of food trucks.
Is this going to be fun, or what!
Backwoods Music Festival is returning this year with even more amazing features to enhance the attendee experience. The festival will feature four new bars including an interactive castle themed bar in the woods, easily accessible to campers. In addition, you can get lost inside the largest hay maze you have ever seen (over 25,000 square feet). As you make your way to the center of the maze you will end your adventure at the bar for a drink. On top of this, there will be a beer garden where attendees can get their drink on and enjoy the sweet tunes on the beach with ultimate shading.
Did I mention the Slip-N-Slide?
Well, there’s nothing more necessary to help beat the Oklahoma Labor Day heat than Backwoods Music Festival’s newest water attraction.
Backwoods will be introducing a 100-meter Slip-N-Slide for the first time ever. The 100-meter slide will take each person on a journey through all 4 of the elements; earth, air, fire and water and will end with a splash in the ranch’s very own 15-acre lake.
The Slip-N-Slide will be free for all attendees and it will run during daylight hours.
Dance, smile and have fun. It’s going to be an amazing Backwoods Music Festival this year.
