Universal Studios® Hollywood Set to Open Harry Potter & Walking Dead

Universal Studios Hollywood will open the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on April 7

Fans of Universal Studios® Hollywood will have plenty to cheer about this spring and summer. Start circling dates on the calendar because the kids are going to be ready for return trip – or first-time visit – to the popular theme park in Los Angeles, CA.

Universal Studios officially unveils the much-anticipated Harry Potter attraction, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, on April 7.

And if that wasn’t cool enough, a new ‘Walking Dead’ attraction is slated to open summer 2016.

Don’t forget: TicketsatWork.com is offering savings over 10% on single day admission to Universal Studios® Hollywood.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter features Hogwarts Castle and the wizard village of Hogsmeade, including shops and eateries, like Honeydukes sweet shop, Zonko’s Joke Shop, and both the Three Broomsticks and Hogshead pubs, featured in the hugely popular books and movies.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios® Hollywood closely resembles the one at the Universal Orlando Resort. But one big difference is that Hogsmeade village will also include Universal Studios Hollywood’s first outdoor roller coaster – “Flight of the Hippogriff.”

The news about The Walking Dead attraction is equally exciting, especially for fans of the popular TV series on AMC, based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman.

For four years now, The Walking Dead has been a part of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, featuring scary mazes based on the TV show. It was announced last week that the Walking Dead attraction is becoming a permanent addition to Universal Studios® Hollywood, with year-round thrills for theme park guests.

Set to open this summer, the attraction is designed to follow in the survivors’ footsteps for an immersive expedition, using both animatronics and live performers.

The special effects, props, staging, costumes and makeup were all created in collaboration with the show’s award-winning production team, including executive producer/director Greg Nicotero.

There’s a lot to look forward to for your next visit to Universal Studios® Hollywood. With all the new (and classic) rides and attractions, plus the special ticket offers from TicketsatWork.com, your next Universal Studios® Hollywood experience is going to be terrific!
