Cirque Du Soleil is coming to Broadway with an all new show; Paramour

Is Cirque du Soleil about to become the next big thing on Broadway? There’s lots of excitement up and down the Theatre District in NYC now that the mega entertainment company has announced it will premiere its first-ever production created specifically for Broadway.

‘Paramour,’ which will begin performances at the Lyric Theatre in April 2016, is set in the glamorous world of Golden Age Hollywood and follows a beautiful young poet forced to choose between love and art.

The new show promises to blend theater elements – professional actors leading a book-driven, love-story narrative, and accompanied by live musicians – with the Cirque du Soleil artistic style, which includes amazing production design and acrobatic stunts.
